Aquinas to Hold Memorial for Homicide Victims


LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) – Aquinas Catholic Schools will hold a memorial service Friday in honor of Paul and AJ Petras.

The father and son were Aquinas alumni.

Paul Petras graduated in 1974, AJ was a member of the class of 2011.

They were shot and killed in an apparent robbery at their business, May's Photo, in downtown La Crosse September.

La Crosse Police have since arrested a man in connection with the shootings. He is being charged with two counts of first degree intentional homicide in their deaths.

Friday's memorial will be held at 2 p.m. at Aquinas High School's Reinhart Athletic Complex.

Alumni of Aquinas are invited to attend, as is the general public.
