Onalaska, WISCONSIN (WXOW) The Onalaska, Holmen, Aquinas co-op swim team is ready to test the waters at the WIAA State Meet this weekend.
O-ha, as they like to be called, qualified two individuals and one relay.
They've been putting in final preparations all week after a solid showing at the Hudson Sectional last Saturday.
The team features swimmers from all three schools.
After missing out on State last year, making it this season has been a nice reward.
"This is what everybody who swims in high school is going for. It's really great to represent our school," Kelsey Linzmeyer, who qualified in the 100 breaststroke and 200 medley relay.
"It's been a big goal of ours as a team to qualify for State. It's really special as a junior to be able to qualify with still hopes of going again next year," said Allison Carlisle, who qualified in the 50 free.
"We're just going to hone-in on those last little details. We're tapering, so practices are going to be a little shorter. We're just resting up and getting ready mentally," said assistant coach Kelsey Hinchcliffe.
O-H-A is a young team and has no seniors.
The division one portion of the WIAA State Meet is Saturday at the UW Natatorium in Madison.
