Bikers Against Child Abuse Soup-Off

LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN (WXOW)-- An unusual combination down at John's Bar in downtown: bikers, soup and child abuse prevention.

It was the first annual Bikers Against Child Abuse soup cook-off. It was free to enter a homemade soup and $5 to sample the entries. More than 100 people attended the event.

"Bikers have a reputation of being tough guys and some have a bad rep, but we're the good guys," said Heather Lichthardt, a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse. "Bikers are family."
