Car accident kills two in Richland Center

RICHLAND CENTER, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Police say a husband and wife have been killed in a car crash.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department says it happened when a truck hit a car head-on the afternoon of Nov. 9, just north of Richland Center.

Seventy-year-old Stephen Rowland and 57-year-old Nina Rowland--both of Orion, Wisconsin--were pronounced dead at the scene.

A Wisconsin State Journal report says 63-year-old Lonnie Kreeger of Richland Center was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

Authorities say alcohol was not a factor.
