MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - State and Federal authorities announce that eight people are indicted on federal charges related to distributing heroin in Eastern Wisconsin.
In a release from the Wisconsin Attorney General's office, part of the charges involve distributing the heroin that killed a Redgranite woman in April.
The woman, Amilia Henschel, was found dead of what a forensic pathologist said was "an acute heroin fatality."
Investigators, tracing backwards from the person who gave Henschel the heroin, eventually ended up with eight people. All were charged in state courts. However, those charges were dropped, without prejudice, last week when the eight were indicted in federal court.
