LANSING, Minn. (KTTC) -- Investigators fear retaliation after a weekend shooting at a hip-hop event near Austin that injured five people.
One victim has been released from Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. The conditions of the other four victims have been upgraded.
Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi said no one is talking and no arrests have been made.
The shooting took place at Lansing Corners Event Center just north of Austin. More than 100 people were attending a hip-hop related party when shots rang out early Sunday morning.
Authorities retrieved bullet casings from the scene and the victims. They submitted that evidence along with one hand gun to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for testing.
Authorities believe the shooting involved gangs.
"With these individuals, there's always danger of being caught in the middle of a situation and we do believe that there will be some sort of retaliation," said Amazi. "Where that might take place, we do not know at this time."
Amazi said some people have started to cooperate with authorities, but the majority of the people present have said "they didn't see anything."
