Some Target employees protest Thanksgiving hours

MINNEAPOLIS (WXOW) -- Some Target employees are protesting the Minnesota-based retailer's plan to start Black Friday shopping on Thanksgiving Day.

Target will open at 9 p.m. Thanksgiving night. The company said opening at that time will provide an after dinner shopping event for the family.

But online many employees argued it takes those values away. A website called change.org is collecting signatures from employees petitioning to "save Thanksgiving" for family. 150,000 people have signed it.
