Jennifer Keller has chosen a challenging career and community volunteer path that satisfies both her intellectual curiosity and her desire to make the city she loves an even greater place to live. As Research Manager for Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation, Jennifer primarily oversees hematology/oncology research staff responsible for clinical trials. She has over eight years of research experience and has authored or co-authored seven research publications. In addition, Jennifer is an adjunct instructor at both Western Technical College and Viterbo University, teaching courses in Introduction to Sociology, Race and Ethnic Groups, Marriage and Family, and Grant Writing. She has served on the La Crosse Festivals/Oktoberfest Board of Directors for six years and was honored to take the helm this year as President for the 52nd Oktoberfest. You can find Jennifer taking on a variety of other volunteer leadership roles, too—roles as diverse as Race Director and as a grant review committee member. A University of Wisconsin-La Crosse alumna, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology/Anthropology and a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She values her time with family and friends, feeds her adventurous nature by trying new things, and loves motorcycle rides.
