WISCONSIN (WXOW) - Thanksgiving travelers, there is some good news about the upcoming holiday weekend. Although you may encounter a few traffic jams, the Wisconsin DOT says most road construction will be done in time for the busy weekend.
The busiest days are expected to be this Friday (11/16) as deer hunters flock to the woods. Wednesday, November 21st is also expected to be busy, when motorists travel to join friends and family for the Thanksgiving holiday. And the heaviest traffic day is expected to be Sunday, November 25th when of course, everyone heads back home.
WisDOT officials are reminding everyone to slow down, pay attention, be patient, always designate a sober driver and of course, buckle up!
