DODGE CENTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- A man with a gun has been taken into custody after a two-hour drama in Dodge Center, with Dodge County Sheriff's deputies and Minnesota State Patrol officers cordoning off a city neighborhood and Triton Public Schools going into lockdown.
It began about 11:15 a.m. Thursday in northeast Dodge Center, after reports that a man with a gun was firing it and acting erratically.
Triton Public Schools notified parents a short time later they have gone into a lockdown mode as a precaution while the situation is being handled, but with the emergency over, it has now been lifted as of 1:15 p.m.
A negotiator from MSP was brought to the scene to assist Dodge County Sheriff's deputies. There's no indication that anyone was hurt.
