LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - November is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month. Locally, members of Couleecap will be collecting basic need items for people in need. Couleecap serves homeless, disabled, elderly, and people leaving emergency situations.
Marketing Coordinator for CouleeCap, Kadie Brueggen said, "We serve people who are homeless all year long, so these will supplement those people all during the year. We have families, we have children, we help elderly people, really anyone in a homeless situation and any other client we have in an emergency situation."
You can help by dropping off personal hygiene items to Associated Bank locations around the area.
