Viterbo Volleyball Advances in NAIA Tourney

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Hosting their first ever NAIA tournament game, the Viterbo Volleyball Team soared past Davenport University in the national tournament's opening round.

The V-Hawks got a stellar 14-kill performance from Alicia Olson. Sparta native Katie Flock added 11 more put-aways helping propel Viterbo to the 3-0 win. Jordan Blaken led Viterbo with 19 digs. The V-Hawks won with scores of 25-21, 25-23, and 25-12 completing the clean sweep.

Now at 32-8 on the year, Viterbo advances to the NAIA Tournament's three-day pool play round from November 27-29 in Sioux City, Iowa.
