New reward set up for missing Iowa cousins

EVANSDALE, Iowa (WXOW) - The family of two missing Iowa cousins have set up a new reward fund hoping it will lead to new information about the girl's whereabouts.

Police believe 9-year old Elizabeth Collins and 11-year old Lyric Cook were abducted. The two were last seen riding their bikes in Evansdale, Iowa on July 13th.

The reward fund has grown to $50,000. And on Monday, family and law enforcement outlined details of a new reward that will be paid out for any information leading to the missing girls without the need to wait for an arrest and conviction.

Elizabeth's parents believe someone out there has information that could lead to locating the girls. Donors can mail contributions to crime stoppers at the address to: Elizabeth and Lyric Fund P.O. Box 1510 Waterloo, IA 50704.
