La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) Viterbo volleyball continues to venture into new territory.
They are in Sioux City, Iowa this evening preparing for their first ever NAIA Volleyball Championship appearance.
It's been 9 days since the V-Hawks took down Davenport to advance to the national tournament.
They'll begin pool play Tuesday night.
Viterbo will play three matches over the next three nights with the hopes of making it to the single elimination portion of the bracket at the end of this week.
"We're really peaking at the right time. We kind of peaked early then plateaued. Then we peaked right after that Grand View match. It's exciting to play your best ball at the right time of the season," said head coach Ryan DeLong.
"I think we don't have anything to lose. We're just ready to go out and play and have fun and hopefully win some volleyball games," said senior Jordan Blaken.
Viterbo will play Indiana Wesleyan Tuesday night, The Master's College on Wednesday and Cal State-San Marcos on Thursday.
Top 2 teams in each of the 6 pools advance to single elimination.
