Viterbo Vball makes it 2 straight wins at Nationals

Sioux City, IOWA (WXOW)  It's clear the Viterbo volleyball team isn't just happy to be at the NAIA Championships.

They're making a big splash in pool play.

On Wednesday, they beat 6th ranked The Master's College 25-20, 19-25, 25-23 and 27-25 to go to 2-0 in pool play.

Sparta graduate Katie Flock led the way with 19 kills and 20 digs.

In the process, Flock becomes the 3rd player in school history to record at least 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.

Alicia Olson chipped in 16 kills as well.

Viterbo will play Cal State-San Marcos on Thursday, but with Wednesday's win they have an excellent chance to advance to the single elimination portion of the tournament which starts Friday.
