Necedah man convicted on child porn charges

A Necedah man has been convicted on five counts of possessing child pornography.

According to a news release from the Wisconsin Attorney General's office, Bradley Carver pleaded no contest to the charges Thursday. Other counts were dismissed as part of the plea.

Carver was charged after an investigation by the Wood County Sheriff's Department. State officials say more than 10,000 images and videos of child pornography were found on Carver's computer and storage devices.

Carver is set to be sentenced March 27, 2013. He faces up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000 on each count.
