Authorities say a murder-suicide at a central Wyoming community college happened in a classroom while class was in session.
Casper Police Chief Walsh says a man wielding a sharp-edged weapon killed one person in a Casper neighborhood Friday morning before going to the nearby Casper College campus. The man entered a classroom in a science building and killed a teacher, then himself, in front of students.
The other victim was found in a street about 2 miles away.
Police say the suspect used a sharp-edged weapon in at least one of the attacks, and no guns were involved.
Walsh says the suspect wasn't believed to be a Casper College student but he did know the victims. The police chief released no names but said the victims were a male and a female.
