Madison, WISCONSIN (WXOW) The Badgers are heading back to the Rose Bowl for a third straight year.
That's amazing in itself.
But also astonishing is how they punched their ticket to Pasadena.
We've seen some great games by Badger running backs.
But considering who they were playing Saturday makes it really an unbelievable performance.
Nebraska had the 15th best defense in the nation coming into that game.
Plus, the Huskers held the Badgers to 56 yards rushing in their first meeting this season.
The Badgers rushed for 539 yards as a team.
"Oh my gosh, man, this is the best thing ever. I cherish this a lot more. Most definitely cherish all the other games as well but everything we went through and fight the way we did tonight says a lot about this entire program," said running back Montee Ball after the game.
"We knew we were going to have to run physical and we knew if was going to be a four quarter game. We came in with a great game plan and we got it accomplished," said running back James White.
Wisconsin will play Stanford on January 1st.
