Authorities have scheduled a news conference for 4:00 p.m. today to update the developments in the case of two missing Evansdale cousins, Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins.

On Wednesday, Captain Rick Abben of the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office held a news conference announcing that hunters located two bodies in a wooded area at around 12:45 p.m.

While authorities await autopsies from the State Medical Examiner's Office for positive identification, Heather Collins, Elizabeth's mother, said on Facebook Wednesday night that the bodies are those of Lyric and Elizabeth.
