Sparta students write letters to Santa

SPARTA, WI (WXOW)—Students from Sparta High School's DECA program volunteered at Sparta Charter Pre-Kindergarten School, on Thursday, with the spirit of the holiday season in mind.

Kids decorated edible Christmas trees with green frosting, candy and sprinkles.

They helped four and five-year-olds write letters to Santa explaining what they want for Christmas.

Everyone is asking for something different.

But the kids are hoping if Santa doesn't get their letter in time, that he's watching the news to know what to bring them.

"A mommy doctor doll," Danielle, 5, said. "Because I really want it."

"A BB gun," Aiden, 5, said. "I tried that before at the shop. At popcorns workshop."

"A bucket," Claire, 5, said. "Because I have a washing machine."

"A cuddly bear, a Woody, a green blanket and a fire truck," Jackie, 5, said.

DECA students said they enjoyed helping kids write letters to Santa because they were all cute.
