Montee Ball given 2012 Doak Walker award

MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Montee Ball has been named the top running back in the nation.

He was awarded the 2012 Doak Walker award Thursday night. 

He is the second University of Wisconsin runner to receive the award. 

Ron Dayne won in 1999.
