LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Almost 250 volunteers from UW-La Crosse rang bells for the Salvation Army Dec. 8.
The bell ringing campaign is the Salvation Army's annual holiday fundraiser, and all 24 bell ringing sites in our area were manned by UW-L students.
They came from seven residence halls and 15 different student groups, such as the Martial Arts Club or Pre-med Club.
Each group of bell-ringers took two-hour shifts.
If you'd like to sign up for a bell ringing shift, you can do so at www.ringbells.org.
