Car hits flagger near Houston

HOUSTON, Minnesota (WXOW) -- A driver hits a construction flagger as he worked along a highway near Houston Friday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a car driven by Chad Vix of Rushford was traveling south on Highway 76 when it hit the flagger just before 1:30 p.m.

Jack Meyer, 29, of Spring Grove, was taken by ambulance to Gundersen Clinic with non-life-threatening injuries.

Vix was uninjured.
