LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) How do you talk about the Connecticut shooting with your children?
Sarah Trane works at Gundersen Lutheran in Behavioral Medicine. She says it's important that you monitor what your children see related to the incident. Trane also says parents should be open about communicating with their children.
She says if you notice changes in your children or in yourself, or you find it difficult to cope with the situation, you should call your doctor.
