LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - For the first time since 2007, the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels will be coming to La Crosse.
But, the visit won't come until May 2014.
The Blue Angels will be performing during the 2014 Airfest on May 31 and June 1.
A support aircraft nicknamed Fat Albert, that can weigh up to 155,000 pounds, will also be part of the air show at the La Crosse airport.
"The people seem to accept the Blue Angels and they know it an appreciate it. It is one of (the Blue Angels') more enjoyable shows, we've been told," said Ron Schmal, Airfest president.
The Blue Angels estimate 11 million people see them perform each year.
