HOLMEN, Wisconsin (WXOW)- A model holiday store will help one Holmen High School family have an even merrier Christmas.
A Holmen entrepreneurship class created The Polar Express, a student-run holiday specialty store.
The class helped students gain real-world experience by partnering with local vendors to stock the store with crafts, winter attire and accessories.
All money the class makes will go to a Holmen student's family that needs a little extra help this Christmas.
"Not only do we get the benefits of what we learned and see the success of the store, but we also get to know that someone else is benefiting from it too," said Gabbi Fasnacht, co-manager of The Polar Express.
The Polar Express' grand opening was Saturday morning. The Holmen High School store will be open through Dec. 21.
