HOLMEN, Wisconsin (WXOW)—Santa visited Mayo Clinic Health System in Holmen Monday morning.
He met with kids and heard what they wanted for Christmas before it was time for his check up.
Then kids watched Santa get his check up, to help calm their nerves before their own check ups.
Mayo hoped kids watching Santa at the doctor would help them understand why its so important for them to get a check up.
"We want to make sure Santa is ready for his big trip this month and that his heart is working well and that he is not sick," Dr. Pam Hanson, Pediatrician, Mayo Clinic Health System said.
"Well it didn't hurt a bit," Santa said. "No it was fun."
Dr. Hanson said its even more important for kids to get a check up than Santa because they're still growing.
