Reports: Andersen to be introduced on Friday

Madison (WXOW) -- It appears the Badgers have their man. The Wisconsin State Journal is reporting Wisconsin has agreed to a contract with Utah State head coach Gary Andersen.

The deal is reportedly for five years and around $10-million. Our affiliate in Madison reports that Andersen landed in town Wednesday afternoon, along with a number of his assistant coaches. An official announcement is not expected until Friday morning.

Anderson served as the head coach at Utah State from 2009-2012. Before his arrival, the Aggies program had a winning percentage of .359%. Since his arrival, the program has been on the rise, including this season's 11-2 record and bowl appearance. The Aggies were ranked 22nd in the latest BCS poll, ahead of the Badgers.

Multiple reports say Andersen will be introduced to the media at a press conference Friday morning.
