La Crosse, Wisconsin WXOW) - Michael Brown is running for Mayor of La Crosse. He made the announcement Friday.
Brown is the President of La Crosse's Tavern League.
If elected Mayor, Brown says he will work closely with the La Crosse Convention and Visitors Bureau to bring more tourism to La Crosse.He hopes this will help make the city a more business friendly environment.
Brown also wants to keep taxes at the same rate they are now.
Brown is the twelfth candidate to announce he is running for Mayor. Two have already dropped out.
Richard Smith, with La Crosse's Waste Water Lab Technician, officially announced Friday he is running for Mayor.
