LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Children's Miracle Network is making Christmas special for kids hospitalized at Gundersen Lutheran.
Keely Raasch – who's been part of CMN since she was six months old – has been in the hospital for the past week receiving treatment for her cystic fibrosis.
She said she appreciates volunteers stopping by her room and bringing treats and holiday cheer.
"They have had so many people coming through," Raasch said. "I had a radio station come through earlier in my stay, I just had local high school students come in, I had -- I think they were staff, or volunteers came in and brought a blanket."
Although Raasch frequents the hospital every few months for treatment, she'll be going home Christmas Eve and will get to spend Christmas at home with her family.
