Holiday hoops underway

La Crescent, MINNESOTA (WXOW)   The holiday hoops season hits full force on Thursday and Friday, but Wednesday offered a little teaser of what's to come.

La Crescent is a hosting a 4-team Houston County tournament.

Alex Vix scored 16 points to lead Rushford-Peterson to a 76-45 win over La Crescent.

In the same tournament, Caledonia clobbered Spring Grove 68-52.  Kyle Sorenson and Austin Bauer had 11 points each for the Warriors.

Onalaska and Aquinas are participating in a tournament in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Onalaska took down Wauwatosa East 56-44.

Matt Thomas had 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the way.

Aquinas beat Dominican 50-47 thanks to 19 points from Michael Conway.

Dominican came in as the number one ranked team in the state in division 4.
