LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign is inching closer to its goal.
So far, the agency says they've received $482,353 and that's not including the money collected in the kettle's on Christmas Eve.
Last year at this time the Salvation Army had $437,164.
This years campaign goal is $650,000. The kettle's are no longer sitting out for the public to give, but people can still drop off or mail in donations to the Salvation Army until January 31st.
Donations can be dropped off at the Salvation Army's office, 223 N. 8th Street.
