
Viroqua, Wisconsin (WXOW) – An Onalaska man is sentenced to jail in a fatal crash that killed his friend.
29-year-old Robert Buckles, had a blood alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit, when he lost control of his truck in Vernon County. His friend was thrown from the truck and died at the scene.
Wednesday, Buckles was sentenced to one year in the Vernon County jail and 5-years of probation.
