
BARRON, Wisconsin (WQOW) - The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has ordered a Barron, Wisconsin company accused of safety violations to pay up. An employee of the Jennie-O Turkey Processing Plant lost his arm while cleaning equipment. An OSHA investigation into the accident found 18 safety violations. The administration then ordered Jennie-O to pay $238,000 in penalties. Jennie-O also agreed to make safety improvements at its plant in Barron and another large facility in Minnesota.
