1. Brief Biography:

I've been married for 36 years, and have 2 grown children. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

I've been a medical technologist for the past 34 years.  I have worked as a laboratory manager and consultant.  I have also supervised staff, managed million dollar budgets, and have been responsible for maintaining policies and procedures that met strict government standards.

I've lived in La Crosse for 10 years.   I'm a former chairman of the Washburn Neighborhood Association, and a former member of the Neighborhood Revitalization Commission.  I also served on the Rental Inspection Committee.  I've worked with the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse to establish the Washburn Garden Park.  I also taught at Globe University in the Medical Assistant Program for over a year.

2. Explanation of why I want to be Mayor:

I want to be mayor because I know I can make a difference in the City.  I‘ve been involved with City issues as the Chairman of the Washburn Neighborhood Association for the past 4 years.  I have fresh ideas that I know can be used to solve some of our city's problems.  They are spelled out in my Five-Point Plan. I have the experience and the enthusiasm that is needed right now.
