I have lived in La Crosse for 33 years in the same house just a few houses down from where my mother grew up. I have been married to wife Jane for 29 years ,have 3 children and 1 grandchild.
I have been involved in many community projects including Kids Coulee, North Park, Make A Wish, Hmong Community Center, and more and recently helped build the Santa house for Rotary Lights.
I have run my construction company from La Crosse for 28 years and also run a hair salon on La Crosse's north side with wife Jane.
I served on the city council for 6 years and served on many city committees also chairing the Finance and Personnel committee. I am currently serving on the Aviation board and Zoning Appeals board for the City of La Crosse.
I have been a long time member of the Chamber of Commerce serving 6 years on the board of directors.
I have served on the La Crosse Area Builders Association board of directors for many years and have been president twice. I am also a life director for the National Association of Home Builders.
We need to stop the decline of home values in La Crosse, build pride in ownership, encouraging families to stay and move to La Crosse. We will need to look at complete makeovers for some areas of La Crosse. We need to give housing the same attention we give business development.
We need to assure that our police department has all the tools they need to reduce crime and that we are allocating our resources properly within the department.
No tax or fee increases
This will be needed to keep families living here and encouraging new families to locate in La Crosse and also will have the same effect with business . I will use the same skills I use in my own business to keep the city operating efficiently and will do everything possible to increase our tax base.
