
Three people were injured in an accident in Allamakee County. It happened around 6 p.m. Friday at Highway 76 and Sunshine Hill.
The Iowa State Patrol reports a vehicle driven by 73-year-old Marilyn Martie of Waukon lost control, crossed the centerline and slid into the path of a vehicle driven by 86-year-old George Jambois of Genoa, Wisconsin.
After a collision, Martie's vehicle ended up in the ditch. Jambois vehicle came to rest on the shoulder of the road.
The two drivers and one passenger, 80-year-old Shirley Jambois, were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
