Florida (WQOW) - The Coast Guard has suspended its search for a western Wisconsin man who was last heard from on Christmas.
Mark Myhre, from Bay City, is missing. The Coast Guard believes Myhre owns a boat that was found abandoned off Elliot Key, Florida on Wednesday. The surrounding area has been searched, but so far, no sign of Myhre. The search was suspended on Friday night.

MIAMI – Coast Guard crews suspended the search, Friday evening, for a man who was last heard from Christmas day by his family members.
Missing is Mark Myhre, a 62-year old Bay City, Wis., resident, an believed owner of the sailing vessel Galilean.
Coast Guard Sector Miami received a report from a good Samaritan of the beached sailing vessel on the ocean side of Elliot Key, Wednesday. The good Samaritan reported that the Galilean had no visible signs of growth on the lines in the water and did not see anyone near the beached vessel.
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Miami, a smallboat crew from Coast Guard Station Miami Beach, Fla., and the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Knight Island were launched to the search the surrounding area. Additionally, Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue crews were launched to assist with the search.
