AKRANES, ICELAND (WXOW) - A photographer in Iceland captured some spectacular views of the Aurora Borealis.
Finnur Andresson used an abandoned farm as the back drop to the northern lights. The photographer shared the photos with CNN iReport.
The photographer said that seeing the phenomenon in person was amazing. He said it looked like something from another world.
He says the lights have increased their activity this year, leading to particularly spectacular displays in Iceland and other Nordic nations.
