
MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The number of flu cases in Wisconsin continues to grow.
New statistics from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services says there have been 5,630 confirmed cases in the Badger State this flu season.
Of that number, health officials state 2,049 people ended up in the hospital for treatment for the illness.
The hardest hit were older Wisconsinites. 65% of flu victims were age 65 or older.
