LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The numbers are in for the area Salvation Army red kettle campaign.
In more than two months the Salvation Army raised $678,148.78 through their campaign.
That surpassed their goal of $600,000.
This is the first time they've met their goal in at least four years.
The Salvation Army said the money will be used immediately to help provide food and shelter to hundreds of people in need.
