Tickets to Driver's retirement ceremony gone in 15 minutes

GREEN BAY (WXOW) -- Donald Driver told fans on his official Facebook page Friday, tickets to his retirement ceremony sold out in just 15 minutes.

"Sorry to everyone who didn't get them," Driver wrote on his Facebook page. "Thanks for the love and support in the cold weather!"

Fans stood outside Lambeau Field in the freezing cold temps for hours waiting to get tickets.

The free tickets to Driver's retirement ceremony February 6 were available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Green Bay Packers' ticket office beginning at 9 a.m. Friday.

The Packers say 1,000 tickets were available and each fan could get up to four tickets.

GREEN BAY (WXOW) -- Donald Driver fans are showing their support despite the freezing cold temps. Dozens of fans have been standing in line outside Lambeau Field for hours waiting to get tickets to celebrate Donald Driver's retirement next week.

Free tickets to Driver's retirement ceremony Feb. 6, 2013 are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Green Bay Packers' ticket office beginning at 9 a.m. Friday.

Temperatures are in the single digits, but about 200 people lined up outside Lambeau early Friday. Some fans say, they've been in line since 10 p.m. Thursday. The Packers say 1,000 tickets are available. Each fan can get up to four tickets.
