LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- The UW- La Crosse offered a technology session highlighting the use of new technology in the classroom.
It's the 7th tech session the school has hosted for staff and faculty. The sessions are to ensure everyone can utilize all the technology the UW-L has to offer, including new massive online open courses.
The idea is to enhance the efficiency of faculty and the quality of education for students.
"I think it energizes faculty, but I think another good aspect is to bring administrators in to be a part of the process, because many times technology can be fairly expensive, and I think if they can see the benefits with faculty and how it can help students learn better, it kind of connect the dots," said Jim Jorstad, Director of Technologies at the UW-L.
