*Team accomplishments (winter and spring sports 11 – 12 school year, fall sports 12 – 13 school year): 

Team finished the year ranked 8th in the country in all NAIA schools (260) with an overall record of 36-8

Team qualified for NAIA National Tournament for first time in school history

Hosted first round of nationals and beat Davenport University (Mich.) to advance to the final site of the NAIA national championship

Finished season in the ELITE 8 of the NAIA National Tournament (NAIA quarterfinals), beating 4 ranked opponents including the 6th, 7th, 12th and 19th teams in the country, over a 4 day period (VU was ranked 21st at the time)

MCC 2012 Tournament Champions (1st in school history)

MCC 2012 Conference Champions (2nd in three years)

Made it father than ANY MCC School has ever made it in the history of the MCC (volleyball)

No other team in Viterbo history has made it farther than the ELITE 8

*Coaches Career Accomplishments:

Overall coaching record of 337-124 (Viterbo, WTC, Aquinas), (291-114 at the college level)

Winningest coach in Viterbo Volleyball school history

Conference titles at respected schools in 2000 (Aquinas),2002 (Aquinas), 2003(WTC), 2004(WTC), 2010 (Viterbo), 2012 (Viterbo)

Coach of the year 2000 (MVC), 2010 (MCC), 2012 (MCC)

Has coached 4 All-Americans including Alicia Olson (1st Team, 2012) and Katie Flock (3rd Team, 2012)

Has coached seven straight MCC Libero of the Year including Jordan Blaken (2012)

Coached 2012 MCC Player of the Year (Alicia Olson)

MCC Champions of Character Coach- 2010

Director of very successful summer and winter volleyball programs for youth ages 8-18

*Favorite Sports Memory:  Beating Grand View this year for the MCC conference tournament, on their floor for the right to go to the National tournament.  Watching our girls celebrate that win and their accomplishments, no other sports moment for me matches that!
