Viterbo's Engh earns MCC honor

La Crosse, WISCONSIN   Viterbo University women's basketball player Jenna Engh was honored Monday by the Midwest Collegiate Conference office as she was named MCC Player of the Week for the week of January 28th-February 3rd.

"Jenna is becoming a more complete player each week,"said Coach Bobbi Vandenberg.
"She was already a great shooter and a threat every time she touched the ball, but now she is making things happen on the defensive end and creating opportunities for her teammates with her floor vision. It's been fun watching her progress and I believe she still has a lot more growth ahead of her on the basketball court."
Engh had a very big week for the V-Hawks as she finished the week averaging 25 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
In the win over Clarke University last Wednesday, Engh led the V-Hawks with 18 points.
She followed that up with a career game as she scored 32 points in Viterbo's loss to AIB College on Saturday.
In addition to the 32 points, Engh also had 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.
