Junior college QB commits to Wisconsin

MADISON (WKOW) -- With National Signing Day just days away, the Badgers announced another new commitment on Monday.

Quarterback Tanner McEvoy is transfering to the UW from Arizona Western College. The 6'6", 215-pound quarterback gave his oral commitment to the Badgers on Monday.

McEvoy is considered a dual threat quarterback, who chose the Badgers over Florida, Oregon and West Virginia.

He will join Wisconsin this spring with three years of eligibility remaining, yet another guy to compete for the starting job with Joel Stave, Curt Phillips, Danny O'Brien, Bart Houston and Jon Budmayr.
