VIROQUA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Vernon County Police report a two-vehicle crash happened Monday February 4, around 12.30Pm, in the town of Greenwood WI.
David J. Mueller age 56, of rural LaValle, WI was operating a dump truck with a snow plow attached to it. Mueller was working for the Sauk County Highway Department. The accident happened at the intersection of County Road EE and County Road Q, facing north. Mueller entered the intersection and began making a right turn, and did not see a pickup truck, pulling a livestock trailer, driven by Dean C. Urban age 48 of rural Hillsboro, WI.
The plow made contact on the driver's side door on the pickup truck. Urban was rushed to the St. Joseph's Health Services-Gunderson Lutheran, in Hillsboro. Urban suffered non life threatening injuries and was soon released. There were two milk cows in the trailer that do not appear to be injured.
The accident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office.
