Four injured in three car collision

La Crescent, MN (WXOW) - The Minnesota State Patrol said Tuesday morning's snow fall caused a three vehicle collision outside of La Crescent.

It happened about 8:45am on Highway 16 and Minnesota Highway 26.

The State Patrol said 75-year-old Joann Novak of Caledonia, was traveling eastbound on the highway when she lost control of her vehicle.  She spun into the westbound lane and struck a car driven by 29-year-old Heather Rask of Caledonia.

Novak was than struck by a pickup truck, driven by 56-year-old Delsey Newman of Spring Grove.

Officials say Novak was transported to a hospital with non life threatening injures.

Newman, Rask and her passenger 62-year-old Sandra Gordon were treated and released.
