LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- The 36th annual Boat, Sports, Travel, and RV Show kicked off Thursday. The show runs through Sunday down at the La Crosse Center.
This year's show includes a trout pond, hunting, fishing and camping displays. There is also an exotic animal display with leopards, cougars, monkeys and more. There are shows throughout the day featuring some of the animals.
The event's organizer says there really is something for everyone.
"We've got face painting for kids, it's all free, trout fishing, keep what you catch, just all kinds of fun things," Ron Murphy said. "It is an inexpensive, fun way to come down, meet your friends, meet your realities, meet your neighbors and have a good time."
Tickets are $7.50 for adults, $5 dollars for students and kids 5 and under are free. A full list of events and show times can be at shamrockprod.com.
