Major Winter Storm Blows Through Midwest

Undated, - (WXOW) The National Weather Service says the blizzard that blew through the upper Midwest Sunday dumped 8 to 15 inches of snow across parts of seven states.

The Dakotas and Minnesota received the worst of the storm. The Minnesota State Patrol says it handled more than 300 vehicle crashes since Sunday morning, with 42 involving injuries. 

Several highways in Minnesota are still closed due to the storm.
